Zoya Pinta and Orly Shine

Mixed Nails!

I love my Zoya polish. It is just so so so so easy to apply! I especially love this particular Zoya polish, Pinta. Coz it's dark purple! Of course, it kinda look like it's black in the picture. Sorry about that. I took the picture this morning at 7am.

Hmm....I think I spotted a little shrinkage in my polish (see the tip of my thumb). I think my Seche Vite topcoat is starting to show its true form! Anyhow, I love this look. Don't you?

China Glaze: Frosty Over White Out

I finally managed to get my hands on China Glaze Frosty. After my attempt at sporting white nail polish failed the first time, I decided maybe I should try using another type of white polish instead.  Anyhow, after I received Frosty, I immediately tried swatching it. To my disappointment, it's kinda sheer even with 3 coats. When I said sheer, I meant that I could still see my VNL - a total no can do in my books.

And so, I painted 2 coats of China Glaze White Out my nails (which wasn't perfect), and then layered it with a thick coat of Frosty. Tadah! No more VNL! And the best part? You can't even see the patchiness of White Out. Neat huh?

Did I tell you the reason why I love Frosty? Because of the subtle shimmer, of course!

What I Wore To My Company's Annual Dinner

The theme was TSMY Rocks!

So technically, it's all about rock and rolling, or anything related to rock for that matter. This year, I decided that I won't waste so much money buying clothes that I'd probably wear once. So with this theme, I thought I'd go the simple (and lazy) route.

I wore this jacket, which I bought online.

My hardrock cafe t-shirt which I bought while on my department's team building trip to Penang.

Black jeans and high heels to complete my outfit. Yes, I know I'm not the most original person when it comes to dressing up for an event.

Of course to complete my whole look, I slapped on OPI Russian Navy Suede onto my nails coz the colour matches my jacket. Plus, this polish is so fast drying!

I forgot to take a picture of my whole look that night though...coz I was running late. Getting lost on my way to the venue didn't help as well. :(

Another dupe

I don't know why I do this to myself *rolling my eyes*

Somehow I didn't realise I bought these two similar looking polishes. It's such a waste of money....seriously.
